Educational & AI Disclaimer
CCAIRE exists to support learning. This page sets out our professional disclosure and explains the limits of our educational materials and of artificial intelligence tools.
Professional disclosure
CCAIRE is not a law firm, regulator, brokerage, insurer, accounting firm, or cybersecurity provider, and it does not provide professional advice of any kind. All CCAIRE programs, presentations, templates, checklists, and resources are provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing we publish constitutes legal, privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory, compliance, financial, tax, insurance, employment, or real estate advice, and nothing should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Your professional obligations remain your own
Real estate is regulated provincially and territorially in Canada. Requirements differ across jurisdictions and change over time.
- You remain responsible for compliance with your provincial or territorial real estate legislation and regulator requirements.
- You remain responsible for your brokerage's policies, supervision requirements, and your applicable code of ethics.
- You remain responsible for privacy compliance under PIPEDA or applicable provincial privacy law, and for anti-spam compliance under CASL.
- You should confirm current requirements with your regulator, brokerage, legal counsel, or insurer before acting.
Artificial intelligence disclaimer
AI tools can produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or entirely fabricated, and they may reflect data or legal assumptions from outside Canada. AI cannot exercise professional judgment and cannot carry professional accountability.
- Always verify AI output against authoritative Canadian sources before using it in practice.
- Never enter confidential client information or personal information into a tool you have not vetted.
- Keep a human in the loop: a qualified person should review and approve anything client-facing.
- Disclose AI use where transparency is required or where a reasonable client would expect to know.
- Examples, prompts, and templates we share are illustrative starting points, not approved compliance language.
Where CCAIRE uses AI-assisted tools in preparing materials, a person reviews that work before it is published.
